Moments with Santa

There have been so many sweet moments captured during our photos with Santa mini sessions in previous years! I thought I would share a few with you.

I love this one because you can see the absolute joy on her face as she runs to Santa.

There lots of smiles–and a few tears. But I think the kids are adorable even when they are crying–it’s all part of the memories. This one is especially cute and funny because big brother looks super excited, and little sister…not so much!

This moment melted my heart!

There were some quiet and prayerful moments, too.

Where the Wild Things Are | Cake Smash Photos

I know where the wild things are–they’re at my studio!

I had a blast photographing this little boy’s one year birthday photos. He was such a charming child with the prettiest blue eyes!

Mom said the “Where the Wild Things Are” birthday banner was made from actual pages from the book. What a unique idea, taking pages from your favorite children’s book and sewing them to a long ribbon to make a banner!We played peekaboo in the curtains–one of my favorite games to play with baby.

And now for the important business of smashing the cake!

Blossom | Newborn Photographer Pittsburgh

Beautiful as a rose, and sweet as a daisy, she’s a pretty little blossom that brings a smile to the face of everyone who meets her.

Big brother was so sweet and loving towards his baby sister.

I love capturing baby’s profile and all the little details – delicate eyelashes, fuzzy cheeks, perfect little nose–so precious.

Sometimes you just look at your child and can’t believe what a miracle this little person is.

Family Photographer Pittsburgh | The Good Life

What a fun session this was! This family added a lighthearted flair to their family photos with a flamingo theme, complete with pineapple drinks and pink lawn flamingos. No matter what time of year it is, looking at these photos will make them think of sunshine and happy days!

We started out with photos on the Carnegie Mellon University campus…

Then we took a stroll on Panther Hollow Bridge just as the sun was setting and golden light washed over everything. Brother and sister had a blast running around hand in hand as mom and dad looked on.

This kid cracked me up with his antics!

Autumn leaves turning yellow made a pretty backdrop for family photos.

I really loved using the bridge as our photography location; it was unique and had so many interesting details, textures, and angles to work with, adding interest to their photos.After that we walked over to Phipps Conservatory for some great family poses on the steps.We finished the session with some playful candid photos that really captured the fun and sweet family connections. My favorite!
