There’s no better time to have family pictures taken than right now, just as you are, in whatever stage of life you are in.  The family session is more than some pretty portraits; with this session we take our time to create a storytelling collection of both posed and candid photos.  Formal photos for the wall and gifts to the grandparents? Check.  Genuine expressions and quirky personalities captured? Check.  A great collection of photos that you will cherish in the years to come?  Double check!

Morning and afternoon sessions take place indoors only, either in my studio or in your home.  Outdoor sessions take place only during the evening hours, when the sun is setting and the lighting is best. The prettiest and most flattering light occurs in the hour or so before sunset.  You can check sunset times for your date here.

Please note, since the scheduling system I use doesn’t automatically adjust for the changing sunset times throughout the year, I have to set it up for an “average” evening time frame and then if needed we can adjust it personally once you have booked.
