What a joyful time for this family, who welcomed their second child into the world.

Big Sister is ecstatic to have a baby brother.

I love it when I’m able to capture a sleepy baby smile. This often happens at point in the session when I have them bundled in a cozy wrap and they begin to fall asleep. Little twitches in baby’s face lets me know they are dreaming, and then I wait patiently, hoping to be rewarded with a darling smile.

As much as I love sleeping newborn photos, I also love getting a few pictures of baby awake. This was a great opportunity to capture a really sweet sibling photo.
