Short and sweet, these holiday minis are just right for busy families to get some beautiful pictures for their holiday cards and gifts.

Two options are available:  Santa minis, or Holiday minis without Santa.

FAQs

Q: Can we take a couple of family photos during our Santa session?
A: Yes!  As long as we stay within the allotted time, Santa is happy to step aside so that you can get a nice family photo.

Q: What happens if my child has a meltdown and won’t sit with Santa?
A: Santa and I will do our very best to make your child feel comfortable and happy; however, sometimes things don’t go to plan!  We can’t go past the allotted 20 minutes since Santa’s schedule is booked solid for the day, so in this case, there are two options.  The first one is to embrace the tears as part of the memory!  It may not seem cute at first, but down the line, you will find them funny and endearing.  The other option is have Santa step aside while we take some lovely family photos without him.  And finally, if all else fails and we haven’t taken any great photos, I can offer you a reshoot on a different mini day, without Santa.

Q: Are dogs allowed?
A: For Santa minis, unfortunately no; Santa’s suit must be kept allergen free.  For Holiday minis, yes; dogs must be thoroughly groomed beforehand to reduce shedding, and paws must be wiped upon entering the studio to minimize wet paw prints.

Q:What clothing do you recommend?

A: Here are some clothing do’s and don’ts for the best picture success!

• Do feel free to choose any colors you like; I design my backdrops to go with anything.
• Do choose “Y” shaped suspenders for baby boys if you want them to stay up, or pin the straps to the shirt shoulders.  Trust me on this!  Fallen suspenders are not something I can fix in photoshop.   The same goes for Peter Pan collars when they turn up!
• Do dress your little ones in clothing that fits well and doesn’t bunch up, ride up, or need constant adjustment to look good.  This is especially true for babies; avoid clothing that will bunch up around the neck when baby is sitting.  Watch out for baby shoes that fall off constantly.  The less fussy, the better!
• Do feel free to wear holiday pajamas if you like!
• Do be prepared to wear photo ready clothing if your child is very shy, in case you need to be in the photos with them.
• Don’t forget to have fun and enjoy your children’s cuteness during your session; embrace whatever stage they are in, even if the pose isn’t “perfect”.  They will still look adorable!

 

TERMS

Time slots are for one family at a time and may not be shared with friends.  Extended family photos are fine, but the time slot will not be extended; I will do my absolute best to capture genuine smiles, however if the children are uncooperative, you may have to book an additional session, or be ok with imperfect expressions/poses/moments as they are.  You may book back-to-back sessions if you have multiple families that want photos together and separately.  Please contact me if you have special needs, and I will do my best to accommodate you.

Copyright: Red Lotus Photography retains all copyright and provides a personal print release with all downloads. Red Lotus Photography may use images from the sessions for promotional use, online or in print.

The images included in your gallery are selected at the sole discretion of the photographer. Sandy selects the best images for a minimum gallery of 10 and edits all keepers, discarding blinks, duplicates, etc. A digital download will be provided within approximately 2 weeks of your session.

Cancellations: Absolutely no refunds will be given, but you may use your credit on file for a future session.
